Equipping

Equipping at Declaration Church

The Apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 4 about how God has gifted the Church with gifted people in order to "equip" the people of the Church to do the work of ministry. The word "equip" means to prepare, to mend or to restore to its proper use. This is our goal with the Equipping Ministry at Declaration Church! We want to mend or restore the broken places in people and then prepare God's people to actively use their own gifts to serve the Church. When God's people are healed and trained, they begin working properly and become a blessing to others. The Church becomes a place not just to attend weekly meetings but for the Holy Spirit to move through people and bless others. It is our hope that all the people of Declaration Church would be restored, prepared and sent out with the transforming power of the Holy Spirit ministering through the Word of God.
