About BCS Together

Our partnership with BCS Together to become a CarePortal church makes it easier for needs of hurting families to be met directly by the Church. Agencies (CPS, Hospitals, FC&A agencies, school districts, etc.) submit vetted needs through CarePortal, giving us the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus for vulnerable families & children in crisis in the BCS area.

In joining our response team, you will have direct access to community requests that may range from clothes and living necessities to beds and mattresses. Not only is this an opportunity to meet physical needs but to build lasting relationships and walk alongside these families in hopes to declare and demonstrate the love of Christ. 

He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.

The process begins with an email from CarePortal with a specific request from a family in need. You may choose to meet that need, but if you are not led to do so, an alternative option is to follow the request. This enables you to receive updates on what is happening and allows you to be able to pray over the family or child! Christ, because of His love for us, came to serve hurting and broken people and as the Body of Christ, we are called to do the same. Once you’ve signed up using our unique link, you will receive an email from our response team leader with further details on what it looks like to handle requests, and walk with families in crisis within the BCS area in a safe and loving way. We are so excited to see how the Lord is going to use our church to declare and demonstrate the gospel through CarePortal!
